I don't ever know what to title these...

Yeah, I never know what to title my posts. I always wanna just say "updates" lol, but, obviously that's boring....

ANYWAY...A few things have happened since I last posted let's see....

Ryan and I had maternity pics taken. My face looks so fat to me. But, I can't complain. It's BABY! And once this baby is here, you can bet I'll be workin my tail end off (once I'm allowed to work out) so that I can get into even better shape than I was pre-pregnancy!! (Yes, I know it's a process and will most likely take me quite some time. But, it's time I'm willing to spend!) Here are a few pics for now...

We had a really good Thanksgiving...We ended up going to our friends Chad and Lauren Biggs' house (and were able to take our huskies Suka and Ella with us because they have a big fenced in yard...So those two ran their tail ends off allllll day!). Ryan's sister Tonia, husband Peter, and kids came as well. Let me tell you, the food was a splendid thing for this pregnant lady!! Lol...

Ryan is really enjoying his pharmacy technician job at CVS Pharmacy. He likes the people he works with, and he enjoys what he does (and he's happy...as well as his employers...because a lot of hispanic people come in wanting prescriptions and they don't know english very well, so, Ryan steps right in and talks to them fluently in Spanish...much to their surprise! lol....Thankyou 2 year mission to Mexico City!!)

We have a feeling this little girl Scarlet is going to be making her way into the world soon...Last night I had some really strong contractions and they were nothin like my normal Braxton Hicks! We timed them or literally over 3 hours (well, 2 of those hours Ryan helped with but the final hour I was on my own because he needed to go to bed). They were a consistent 4 minutes apart and after the first hour and a half gradually became stronger and were lasting more than a minute each. I had been laying down for those 2 hours so for about 20 minutes I decided to get on my yoga ball to see if that would stop them (cuz if they stopped then I'd KNOW I wasn't in true labor). Well, they didn't stop. So, I decided to take a nice warm shower. The warmth helped my back so I couldn't really feel the contractions back there anymore, but, I could most definitely still feel them in my front the whole time I was in the shower. When I got out and dressed they were still coming, and I could feel them in my back again, so, they apparently didn't change....BUT, these contractions stopped getting stronger and never reached their painful level, so I figured that they weren't the real deal and was able to go to bed and sleep through them....Upon waking up this morning, I'm still having contractions, but, they're not hurting my back so we'll see how things go over the next few days!!!!!!.......Only 9 more days til this little girl is due!

Gettin Better at This!

Now would you look at that.....I'm actually updating my blog sooner than a month later....progress people, progress! LOL

This week has been great...First of all, my husband has been spoiled this week as far as dinner is concerned. I am addicted to this site called Pinterest (it gives you lots of awesome ideas from cooking, to crafts, to fitness....you can get all sorts of ideas here and I LOVE it!) and I've been cooking all sorts of things lately. Sunday night I made spicy meatloaf (this wasn't a Pinterest recipe...this was a Kellsi Foster recipe and boy was it yummy!! lol)...Monday I made bratz with sauted onions (this happened to not be a Pinterest recipe either btw)....Tuesday night it was crock pot orange chicken...Wednesday night we had cheesy vegetable chowder...Friday I made chicken chimichangas with avacado topping...and tonight it was homemade In N Out burgers (which were freaking delicious....I am DEFINITELY going to be making these again!!!!)...Ryan has been in heaven, and I'll admit, that makes me feel like I'm doin somethin right as a wifey! Haha...

Other than great meals, this week has been going pretty well....This week was my 37th week of pregnancy, meaning I am now considered "full term" and Scarlet can basically come at any time now and be perfectly healthy...I had an obgyn appt on Tuesday and they did a group B strep test as well as check my cervix for any signs of dilation/effacement...I am barely barely at 1cm dilated, so, still a ways to go!!! That's ok with us, Scarlet still has 2 1/2 weeks now until her due date, no rush :)...I've been going on looong daily walks though, as well as boucing on a yoga ball we got from Walmart, to help things along and possible make things smoother once delivery time has arrived....My hips have been hurting me a LOT lately, so, the yoga ball has pretty much saved my life. I just sit right on top of it and bounce away (or I'll move my hips in circles)....

I've been working on lots of crocheting crafts lately as well and have made 3 baby beanies so far...2 with little bear ears and one with cute little ear flaps (it's baby pink with black trim and we;re TOTALLY gonna have scarlet wear it with her coming home outfit...it is SOOOO adorable)!

Ryan has really been enjoying his job with CVS and I'm really glad about that! Even though he works long shifts we're ok with it because that means more money for us to be able to pay our bills! LOL..

Well, that's about all the updating I can think of....Will post again soon! :)

Let's Try This Again...

So, I've come to the realization that I'm just a really bad blogger...and I mean, REALLY BAD. Writing on a blog is just like writing in my journal, I think about doing it every day, and I WANT to do it, but I just get lazy or end up doing other things and tell myself, "Oh well, I'll do it tomorrow" and then never actually end up doing it for months and months. Oy.

In an attempt to be better at it, I've created a whole new blog altogether (considering the fact that I unintentionally screwed up our last one and don't know  how to fix it, I think making a new one was probably a really good idea). http://www.hellofosters.blogspot.com/ is now going to be THIS blog http://www.heyitsthefosters.blogspot.com/. Let's hope and pray I do a better job at posting!!

It's been SEVERAL months since I last posted and many things have happened since then. So, instead of writing detail after detail and making this post longer than it needs to be, I'll try to make a timeline out of it or something (heck, I'll make a timeline starting when Ryan and I got married in case there are people out there reading this who don't know those details...)

December 18, 2010 - Ryan and I were married in the Salt Lake City Temple at 7:40am (yep, that means I was up at like 5 getting ready!) for time and all eternity...

March 2011 - We found out we're expecting a sweet little baby!
May 2011 - Ryan finished his Associates degree at Laramie County Community College (where he had a soccer scholarship) in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We moved and stayed with his parents for about a month in Valentine, Nebraska.
June 2011 - My parents drove up to NE from Monte Vista, Colorado and helped Ryan and I move to Buena Vista, Virginia...Ryan got a soccer scholarship at Southern Virginia University (and ended up being one of the soccer captains. Go babe!!)
July 2011 - We found out that we're having a baby GIRL! Her name will be Scarlet Jolene Foster. She is due December 7, 2011.

August 2011 - Peter and Tonia (Ryan's sister and her husband) and their kids Ava and Rhodri moved to BV. Ryan started school and soccer and I started school in Fishersville, VA (about 40 miles away) doing cosmetology classes every M-T-W from 5-9pm.
October 2011 - Ryan finished the soccer season (ended up being an All-Star or All-American...something like that...I'm pregnant, that's my excuse for not being able to remember at this exact moment lol...but it was for his academics as well as athletics...WOOT!...also, he will be soccer captain again next season!)
November 2011 - Ryan got a job as a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy...that's a really good job and DEFINITELY an answer to our prayers!!!

Well, that's the rundown of our year so far!!! Little Scarlet is still baking in my belly (although she is about ready to come out any day now and my body is definitely feelin it! We'll see if she actually stays in there til December lol).
